We were very happy to host Liam & Kerry’s wedding at Dalston Hall.💖 Here is what they had to say about their day.
After looking at multiple venues our final view was Dalston Hall. And it didn’t disappoint. This venue was amazing, everything we were looking for and more. The house itself is beautiful, old rustic with a modern touch, the gardens are amazing with great photo opportunities.
What theme did you have?
Our theme was sage and gold. We chose this as I loved how elegant the colour was.
What kind of cake did you have?
We had a 3 tier wedding cake with sage ribbon and gold lettering! It was made by a lady in Silloth xx
What did the wedding party wear?
I shopped for my dress and chose it after trying on 5 dresses. I knew the second I put it on that “this was the one”. I loved it.
My girls wore a floor-length sage halter dress, and my flower girls wore ivory dresses from Monsoon and they all looked stunning!
All 15 of our groomsmen wore suits from Goodfellows menswear. Amazing service from those guys too!
What did you choose for flowers?
My flowers were by a local company called Oppsi Daisy Flowers! I’ve had many flower arrangements from Kim over the years and knew I wouldn’t want anyone else taking care of my flowers for my day!
How did you decorate the venue?
I lived on Pinterest for the months running up to our wedding for ideas. I knew I didn’t want too much. We went with a simple leaf garland with pearls to scatter. I had a lovely lady, Jasmine, who created all my wedding stationery from a company called Dreams To Themes – amazing service from start to finish.
Then rose and hearts dressed my chairs for the venue we had sage sashes with an ivory rose and some gyp in to the centre!
Any suppliers you would like to mention?
My hair stylist was Hairology by Kelly. I’ve had my hair done for many years with her.
My makeup was by the incredible Lauren at Sunkissed Beauty salon!
What was the best part of your day?
The best part of our day was having our family and friends celebrate with us! It was an incredible day from start to finish! The venue is incredible, the staff are amazing!
What advice would you give to other couples getting married?
Don’t stress! Take people’s advice most of all enjoy every single moment!
