We’re super excited to introduce you to Olivia, our passionate wedding coordinator at Dalston Hall. Olivia joined us in May, inspired by her cousin’s wedding at our venue last June. She loves coordinating events and takes pride in seeing projects through to perfection. Her enthusiasm and dedication makes every wedding truly special. Let’s dive in and get to know the wonderful Olivia a bit better!
What hobbies or activities do you enjoy outside of work?
I enjoy going to concerts and music festivals, house renovations, going to second hand/vintage stores to have a look at the gems you can find and of course, everyone’s favourite hobby of watching Tik Toks, haha!
If you weren’t a wedding coordinator, what career would you be in?
If I wasn’t a wedding consultant, I would love to be an interior designer, or do house renovations.
If you could have dinner with any celebrity, who would it be and why?
Taylor Swift, because she is a queen and I think she would be able to give you some stellar life advice.

How long have you been with the company and what attracted you to this role?
I have been with the company for just under 3 months and I was attracted to this role as I had been to my cousins wedding last June at Dalston Hall and thought it seemed like a lovely place to work and coordinating is something I actually love doing. I love being in charge of a project and seeing it through.
What do you find most rewarding about your job?
I find the satisfaction from the couples at the end of their wedding day, after they have had their dream fulfilled. I love it when we can make something happen for a couple that they maybe thought not possible and working around any stumbling blocks.
What would be your go-to song to get the party started at a wedding reception?
Taylor Swift, ‘Love Story’. Anything Taylor Swift really, but I know not everyone is a fan. Kelly (another lovely Dalston Hall Wedding Coord) and I both love ‘Life is a Highway’ by the Rascal Flatts, so if that came on, we would both be straight up onto the dance floor.

Why should someone get married at Dalston Hall?
Dalston Hall is the place to be. The staff are all super friendly and helpful (click here to meet the team). The grounds are stunning… Bridgerton vibes! The entire wedding team go above and beyond to ensure a couple’s dream turns to reality. Our outdoor ceremony area is amazing for the summer and the Baronial Hall, with the fires lit, is perfect for the Autumn and Winter days. The Bridal Getting Ready Room is the perfect place to get ready but also for those pre-wedding Tik Toks and candid pictures. The food is 5 Stars, and our menu is super flexible for any special requirements. I wouldn’t book anywhere else!
