One huge thing we’re noticing when it comes to bridal accessories this year is, well… they’re not very bridal! With brides and grooms giving a nod to sustainability, they’re choosing accessories with longevity and wearability in mind. This means we’re seeing an abundance of cute coloured and somewhat unconventional shoes. Clutch style bags that wouldn’t look out of place on a night out and statement jewellery for a wow factor with or without a wedding dress.
Wedding Gloves
Bridal gloves are hot whatever the weather. This timeless trend has inspired the celebrity weddings of Britney Spears, Kourtney Kardashian and Nicola Peltz. With an anything-goes theme, we’re seeing anything from silk and feathers to voile with 3D embroidered flowers.
Love Hearts
We’re noticing a lot of love heart embellishments – love is in the air after all! Look for details in lace veils, tiny hearts in custom wedding manicures, details on shoes, and heart-shaped bags and sunglasses.
Something Blue
Pastel blue is getting a big feature this year, with couples making something blue their whole wedding theme. Expect to see this colour everywhere, from florals and accessories to groom styling and bridesmaid’s dresses, we love it.
