Couture Fashion Week did not disappoint we round up our favourite looks predicting what will transition into bridal fashion or the ultimate wedding guest style for 2023.
Ellie Saab was a spectacular array of glitz and glamour with her heavily embellished soft nude and pastel gowns. We love the off-the-shoulder looks and risqué fabric choices, combining sparkles with sheer fabric she’s bringing sexy back in 2023. Expect to see bejewelled bridal gowns and asymmetrical styles with perhaps a little skin on show.
Georges Hobeika gave us Hollywood glam, ruffles and feathers in stunning pastel shades. Expect to see soft colours creeping into bridal looks for 2023 and floaty dresses adorned with feathers. Whilst keeping things fun and feminine these bold looks translate beautifully to bridal wear.
Giambattista Valli’s show-stopping ruffles and bows were a dream to behold. Romantic and fun carrying the puff sleeve trend into 2023. Again pastel colours were a firm favourite, teamed with delicate footwear and statement earrings would you say “I do” to this look? We definitely would.
We couldn’t not mention Viktor & Rolf for this artistic interpretation. While this look would be perfect for our getting-ready room, we don’t quite think it’s ready for the aisle. Still giving us inspo for layering looks and more pastel & nude tones though.
